Thank you for visiting my new website! I recently decided to make my lifelong dream of becoming an author a reality. As a mother of a son with severe autism, I knew carving out a portion of each day to write would be an uphill challenge. But with the encouragement of my loving husband and oldest son, I put my stubborn streak into good use and forged ahead. Now I have a completed manuscript to show for it!

Quiet moments are few and far between in my household, but using headphones with soft music to dull the noise works a similar magic. Within my chosen genre of modern Southern Gothic, an imperfect writing environment often works in my favor. Whether reading or writing it, poetry and Gothic fiction provide a much needed outlet for my overactive imagination and wanderlust. And it’s cheaper than therapy!
